Well, all my best plans did not come to fruition...I'm stuck in DC (Dulles) until 6:30 this evening. I was suppose to fly out Friday night from San Antonio but that plane was delayed 3 hrs and would have missed my connection to London so I opted to stay in San Antonio another night with the hopes the weather would clear. Well, I was able to leave San Antonio around the same time I would have left the day earlier (1/2 hr delay) but when we got to the DC area there were severe weather warnings and when I thought we were landing there, we actually had skirted around them and landed in Richmond, VA to refuel...evidently they wanted us to circle Dulles for 45 minutes but we didn't have enough fuel to do that, so we landed. When we did finally reach Dulles my flight to London had departed an hour and a half earlier and not other open flights until today at 6:30pm...I really hate delays! Any way, I'll head to the airport soon since I have to check out of my room by noon...and then wait for 6 hrs!!! :(
This gets old after awhile...well, I'll let you know the rest of the story when I know it.

oh wow! what a pain in the butt that has been for you.
i hope for our flight things go okay. and we aren't delayed or anything. but, if so, yet another experience to live and make one wiser (i think. LOL).
